SINCE 1987
The JahRoc Story
Nearly four decades of designer furniture, Australian art and an enduring connection to Western Australia.

1987 · THE BEGINNING
Jarrah and stone
Gary Bennett founded JahRoc in 1987 in his backyard shed in Scarborough, making coffee tables from hand-split Toodyay stone and old jarrah salvaged from building sites. Hence the name: Jah (jarrah) and Roc (rock).
David Paris joined in 1988, beginning a partnership that would last nearly 40 years.

For twenty years JahRoc Galleries on the main street of Margaret River showcased JahRoc furniture alongside paintings, glass, jewellery and sculpture by local, Australian and international artists.
