BESPOKE COMMISSIONS
Furniture made for one place, and one client
Each piece is individually crafted from hand-selected, salvaged Western Australian native hardwoods, with designs adjusted or created anew to suit the space and the people who will use it.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY
Commissions are currently taken by waiting list
While the next chapter of JahRoc takes shape, furniture commissions are being placed on a waiting list. Register your interest and Niki will be in touch to talk through your project.
THE PROCESS
From first conversation to installation
Every commission follows the same path, from your first conversation with Niki to the finished piece in its place.
STEP 1
Consultation
Tell Niki about the piece you have in mind, where it will live and how it will be used. Consultations are by appointment.
STEP 2
Understanding the space
We work through the measurements, the room and how the piece will be used, so the design suits the space and the people who will live with it.
STEP 3
Design development
An existing JahRoc design is adjusted, or a new one created, then confirmed with you in a written quote and timeframe.
STEP 4
Timber and material selection
Timber is hand-selected from salvaged Western Australian native hardwoods, either from our stock or sourced for your piece.
STEP 5
Craftsmanship
Your piece is made by hand in the JahRoc workshop, then finished and checked before it leaves.
STEP 6
Delivery and installation
We arrange delivery and, where needed, installation, so your piece arrives ready to use.
THE TIMBER
Every piece begins with the timber
Hand-selected, salvaged Western Australian native hardwoods, chosen for their character before a design is committed.

PROJECT PROOF
Made for ambitious spaces
From a monumental custom table for Crown Resorts Sydney to one-of-a-kind residential commissions, JahRoc pieces are designed around the space, the timber and the people who will live with them.

TIMEFRAMES
What to expect
How long a commission takes depends on the size of the piece and whether the timber needs to be sourced or is already in stock. As a guide:
SMALL PIECES
Approximately 4–6 weeks
Smaller pieces, particularly when the timber is already in stock.
LARGE PIECES
Approximately 8–12 weeks
Larger pieces, or when the timber needs to be sourced.
EVERY PIECE
Confirmed when we quote
All timeframes are approximate and will be confirmed when we quote.
