Gary recently made two of our beautiful Jarrah Blanket Chests in his studio workshop in Gnarabup. We had a customer order for one, and it made sense to make a second one at the same time to use for stock and display purposes. It is also more time efficient to make two at once.
Gary enjoys the making of an existing older JahRoc design as it gives him the chance to revisit the concept, make changes and update the patterns ready for the next order. Our blanket chests have always been so heavy to move due to the amount of 40mm thick solid timber used, so Gary has made a few clever changes to lighten the look and also the weight of these new ones.
Our customer is extremely happy with the way their Jarrah Blanket Chest evolved, and it is now sitting beautifully at the foot of their existing JahRoc 4 Poster Bed.
