# SJOG Foundation Fundraiser Success - Link: https://www.jahroc.com.au/sjog-foundation-fundraiser-success - Published: 2015-06-22T15:11:24+08:00 - Author: JahRoc Galleries ### JahRoc Galleries was involved in a very successful fundraising event on Thursday 18th June which was a St John of God Foundation charity event with proceeds going towards important research into breast and ovarian cancer. Some of our own JahRoc Furniture went under the hammer, as well as paintings, glass and sculpture by some of JahRoc Galleries exhibiting Artists. ### The crowd was excited and appreciative of the donated items on offer. It’s a winning combination to be able to contribute directly toward state of the art cancer research, and in exchange receive beautiful artworks, and furniture. ### **Of course none of this could happen without generous donations.** ### THANKYOU to the following JahRoc Galleries exhibiting Artists who donated on the night… ### 󠀁[Shaun In 2010 the foundation was integrated into **St John of God Health Care**. Over the last 10 years St John of God Foundation have raised an incredible $20 million for the _Comprehensive Cancer Centre_ at St John of God Hospital which incorporates all aspects of care associated with cancer diagnosis and treatment. Other major fun raising events the foundation has contributed towards is the _Murdoch Community Hospice_ and _Horizon Houses_.⏎ 󠀁[Read more about the foundation here…](https://www.sjogfoundation.org.au/)󠁿 ### Special thanks also goes to Mike Annert from **Blue Wren Picture Framing** and Gallery who loaned his Art Delivery Van to enable Gary and Lara to deliver the furniture and artwork to the event and then to the customer’s homes. Mike – your van made our job so much easier – especially in the heavy rain!! * [⌊Bambamboo Invitation 2⌉⌊Bambamboo Invitation 2⌉[ * [⌊Bambamboo Invitation 1⌉⌊Bambamboo Invitation 1⌉[ --- ### Photos from the charity night…. * ![Sjog Foundation Fundraiser Crowd](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2015/06/SJOG-Foundation-Fundraiser-Crowd-1024x491.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo 1](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-1.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo 6](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-6.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo Jason Tan Speaking](https://www.jahroc. com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-Jason- Tan-speaking.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo Jason Tan Speaking 2](https://www.jahroc. com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-Jason- Tan-speaking-2.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo 7](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-7.jpg) * ![Allan Jason And Di Taylor Artist](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2015/06/Allan-Jason-and-Di-Taylor-Artist-1024x683.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo Di Taylor 2](https://www.jahroc.com. au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-Di-Taylor- 2.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo Di Taylor 3](https://www.jahroc.com. au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-Di-Taylor- 3.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo 10](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-10.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo 9](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-9.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo 5](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-5.jpg) * ![Sjog Foundation Fundraiser Dr Jason Tan And Sayaka Tan](https://www.jahroc. com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/SJOG-Foundation-Fundraiser-Dr-Jason-Tan-and- Sayaka-Tan--1024x683.jpg) * ![St John Of God Fundraiser At Bambamboo 3](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/St-John-of-God-Fundraiser-at-BamBamBoo-3.jpg) * ![Sjog Foundation Fundraiser Silent Auction](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2015/06/SJOG-Foundation-Fundraiser-silent-auction-1024x683.jpg) --- [Gallery Shop Furniture & Art](https://www.jahroc.com.au/gallery-shop)
