The “arty’ sundowner was well attended at JahRoc Galleries on Sunday night 27th December, with all enjoying jazzy tunes by Graeme Dickinson while sipping on fine wine and perusing the exceptional coastal paintings by Leigh Hewson-Bower.
Perth based artist Leigh Hewson-Bower has forged a strong reputation as a realist seascape artist who specialises in the coastal areas of Western Australia including Rottnest, Perth beaches, and the South West.
His most recent exhibition at JahRoc is titled “South West Shorelines” and is a collection of x12 acrylic on canvas paintings of iconic coastal areas of the Margaret River region.
The opening celebration pulled a lovely crowd who enjoyed the opportunity to meet and chat with Leigh Hewson-Bower and many got involved in the Q&A session with the artist, gaining a great in-sight into his art practice.
