He is a self taught artist who painted many regional murals in the early years. Kerry has been painting professionally since 1984, using oils to capture the Australian landscape. He prefers to paint rugged mountain ranges and remote coastlines across our wonderful continent. Light and atmosphere are an important feature in his works. Kerry has won many awards and his paintings feature in collections worldwide. ### _“I fell in love with the pristine coastlines of Western Australia on my first visit in the year 2000 and have returned every year since in search of new subjects, especially in the South West. By combining my love of light and atmosphere with the secluded beaches, it has inspired me to produce this current collection of paintings. This year my paintings represent the inspiration of the local coastal areas between Rottnest Island and Albany, with a large collection focused on the magnificent Margaret River. I have created many of them with more of a panorama vision, moving away from the more traditional landscape shapes. The movement and reflections in the water and the light and shadows of the sand have laid down the basic fundamentals to each painting. I enjoy the ever changing landscape and find new paintings, with every visit. This is my second feature show with JahRoc Gallery and I hope the viewers can see and feel what I have brought to the canvas”_ ## Shop – Exhibition Artworks --- ## Gallery --- * ![Kerry Nobbs Lucid Light 50x50cm 1550 From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp- content/uploads/2013/09/Kerry-Nobbs-Lucid-Light-50x50cm-1550-from-blog.jpg) * ![Esperance Sunset 180x70cm 7500jpg From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2013/09/Esperance-Sunset-180x70cm-7500jpg-from-blog.jpg) * ![Esperance Reef From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/ 09/Esperance-Reef-from-blog.jpg) * ![Wyadup Sm From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Wyadup- sm-from-blog.jpg) * ![Turquise Waters Sm From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2013/09/turquise-waters-sm-from-blog.jpg) * ![Prevelly Morn 120x50cm 3750 From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2013/09/Prevelly-Morn-120x50cm-3750-from-blog.jpg) * ![Low Tide 90x60cm 3375 From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2013/09/Low-Tide-90x60cm-3375-from-blog.jpg) * ![Ebbing Tide The Basin 80x120cm 5650 From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp- content/uploads/2013/09/Ebbing-Tide-The-Basin-80x120cm-5650-from-blog.jpg) * ![Dawn Redgate 150x40cm 3750 From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2013/09/Dawn-Redgate-150x40cm-3750-from-blog.jpg) * ![Bunker Bay 150x80cm 6900 From Blog](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2013/09/Bunker-Bay-150x80cm-6900-from-blog.jpg) * ![Saltbush Plain Cropped](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/ Saltbush-plain-cropped.jpg) * ![Geike Gorge 150x56cm 5000jpg](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2014/11/Geike-Gorge-150x56cm-5000jpg.jpg) * ![Edge Of The Plains 65x85cm 3350](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2014/11/Edge-of-the-Plains-65x85cm-3350.jpg) * ![Across The Bay 150x60cm 5475](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2014/11/Across-the-bay-150x60cm-5475.jpg) * ![Fays Bay](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Fays-Bay.jpg) * ![Ripples In The Sand Sm](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/ ripples-in-the-sand-sm.jpg) * ![Kerry Nobbs Esperance Dunes 30x30cm 600](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2014/09/Kerry-Nobbs-Esperance-Dunes-30x30cm-600.jpg) * ![Kerry Nobbs Yallingup Headland 30x30cm 600](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2014/09/Kerry-Nobbs-Yallingup-Headland-30x30cm-600.jpg) * ![Kerry Nobbs Winy Harbour 30x30 600](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2014/09/Kerry-Nobbs-Winy-Harbour-30x30-600.jpg) * ![Kerry Nobbs Overlooking Gas Bay 30x30cm 600](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/ uploads/2014/09/Kerry-Nobbs-Overlooking-Gas-Bay-30x30cm-600.jpg) * ![Rottnest Dunes 2 120x40cm 3000](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2014/09/Rottnest-Dunes-2-120x40cm-3000.jpg) * ![Rottnest Dunes 1 120x40cm 3000](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/ 2014/09/Rottnest-Dunes-1-120x40cm-3000.jpg) * ![Kerry Nobbs](https://www.jahroc.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Kerry-Nobbs. jpg) **All paintings are available for purchase.** Contact us for more details Or call now to purchase – 08 9758 7200 --- [View Artist Gallery](https://www.jahroc.com.au/artists/kerry-nobbs/)
