Give us a call or send us an email within 24 hours. We will not be able to refund,
but we can certainly change your purchase to another item. If your second choice
has a higher value the balance will be payable by you.

We do recommend insurance to cover any possible damage in transit. It is a very
rare occurrence for something to get damaged – but if it did happen then you’re
better off being covered as it takes the worry out of the delivery process.

Yes. We can give you a rough estimation on the spot, but otherwise, we will get
a definite quote directly from the deliverer and pass that price on to you.

JahRoc can organise this for you. We use reputable delivery companies who specialise
in either art or furniture deliveries and have been dealing with us for many years.

When the timber was once used in a building, jetty or any other construction, that
is demolished and then used for furniture it is recycled. For example, we have used
recycled timber from the Cottesloe Flour Mill, the Bunbury Jetty and the Merredin
Wheat Bins to name a few. We also salvage timber from the forest floor or from trees
that might be blown over in a storm or cut down to make way for roads and power
lines. We aim to have as little impact as possible on our native forests so 90%
of our timber comes from these resources.

Yes. We use other local hardwoods such as Sheoak and Black Butt and can also source
imported timbers upon request. We have used timbers such as Cedar, Huon Pine, Ebony,
Oak and many more over the years. Using exotic or imported timbers does add to lead
times and costs but if you’re looking for something special it’s worth it!

In the South West of Western Australia. They are unique to this region. JahRoc Furniture
specialise in making solid timber furniture using these two and other local timbers.

Yes, we do oil finishes. They require more work as the sanding finish needs to be
really fine at 1500 grit and so the cost a bit more. They also require a bit more
maintenance. We supply instruction for customers that order pieces with an oiled
finish.

No not with the lacquer finishes, just wipe it over with a clean damp cloth after
use to clean it. If you really want to use a product we recommend Marveer. Apply
a small amount to a clean cloth – rub onto the timber then rub any excess off. Do
not use anything silicone-based as this will hinder the ability to re-polish the
table in the future.

Since May 2026, the JahRoc brand has been owned by **Mark Stothard of Echo Marine
Group**. Echo Marine Group is a Western Australian company that builds superyachts
in Henderson, WA. It acquired the JahRoc brand and its intellectual property, along
with the exclusive right to make JahRoc Furniture designs. Echo’s craftsmen now
build the pieces.
Gary Bennett founded JahRoc in 1987, in his backyard shed in Scarborough.
David Paris joined him as a partner in 1988. Together they built JahRoc over almost
40 years with their wives, Lara Bennett and Joanna Paris, ending at the Margaret
River workshop and gallery.

In Margaret River, Western Australia, in our purpose-built workshop.

We require a 30% deposit on order, any design drawings of variations will be done
after that if required. We will give you an estimated date of completion, at which
time you will get a phone call or email notifying you that your furniture is ready
and the final balance is due to be paid. Delivery will also be organised at that
point.

Let us know what you want and we can design and make it especially for you. A large
portion of our work is custom made furniture, that way the customer gets exactly
what they want rather than settle for second best.

Prices can vary, depending on timber selection, size and design variations.
