Garry Zeck

Art is life.
Art is the journey.
What I want my art to reflect on is the impact of the experiences that have influence on my thinking.
These experiences include self discovery, a reaction to form and a passion for gestural realities.
I believe that most often the attempt is to find ‘meaning’ as a justification for creating.
The authentic journey is a journey from the heart. To be an artist is to experience that journey every day, to ask what I want to say and how the materials I use are going to contribute to this expression.
