JahRoc Furniture was approached early in 2004 to design dining furniture for the new True North which was to be built later that year. The True North is a 5 star adventure cruise vessel that operates in Kimberly region of WA. It represents the finest that WA has to offer in "Adventure Tourism" which is why JahRoc Furniture chose to take on the commission. At the time Gary Bennett (JahRoc) and Ian Bailey were working on a project to design a range of furniture that expressed the beauty of the coastal dunes in the Margaret River Region; which is where Gary's design studio is situated. The Silhouette series seemed perfect for the True North as it reflects the gentle undulation of Western Australia's unique coastline. These images show the completed project which both True North and JahRoc are extremely happy with.
